Merriam-Webster Dictionary+ App Reviews

Although English is a second language , it is my everydays communication mean at work, i.e. 10 hours a Day. This app is just excellent to check a word or find a synonym in the thesaurus. Would appreciate to have an access thru idiomatic expressions! In a nutshell. Go for it!

I use it on a daily basis. It really helps me to learn English. Unfortunately favorite words arent stored in iCloud. So theyre all gone after reinstallation :( Would you add this feature in the next release?

I use it every day for the word of the day and recommend it to my students. I use the favorites list to learn words Ive looked up and create memory palaces with them. Students also use it to find synonyms and words that rhyme when they need to write poems such as limericks. I love the games!

Great app. Been using it for years. Recently I had it upgraded to premium version. The feature that I love most is the "favorite" function which enables to save all the vocabulary that I love and need to get back on. For someone whose English is not their first language and who is a geek for vocabulary. I assure you that youll get frustrated with the word challenge game. But still it is sooo much fun. One little malfunction in my case, the pronunciation button next to the word does not work in my phone. Please help fix it for me. All in all, it is a fantastic app.

This is a great app of a knownly amazing dictionary. I really enjoy the Daily Word. The app also shows excelent etmological references.

I contacted the helpdesk. They could not help me. Recording function does not work on my iPhone 5.

Its a very good app, but I am unable to download it to my iPad. Ive been using it in iPhone and would like to have it in my iPad also, but the option is not available unless I pay for it again. Why?

I have bought this dictionaire, I have it installed in my iphone, but it is charging me again to have it installed in my Ipad. I do not think it is fair

No doubt is a grate and useful app. I love it.

I rate it A number 1. One of the best worldwide. Essential for English learners. I suggest the inclusion of more coloquial expressions, not necessarily idiomatic.

A reliable Dictionary in a handy app is what I need when reading in English (which is not my mother language). Thats what it is.
